A 12 week project completed at the end of 2018, focusing on creating bespoke lighting solutions for a domestic space.

Rise takes inspiration from the moon and its specific phases in order to produce a relaxing and ambient lighting effect. As the user moves the sphere up and down, the light intensity fluctuates, allowing the light to be tailored to each situation. The lunar sphere is suspended by friction alone, capped with hand-turned aluminium screws, knurled to encourage user interaction and improve user experience. Rise combines both a tranquil and work environment in perfect harmony with the availability to direct the light to wherever desired.
